#NINJA TURTLE MONKEY QUEST CRACKED#
I also cracked up on sight after witnessing a beefy, oversized crocodile being fanned by his lizard underlings. By the way, I thought being called spineless by an overgrown jellyfish was a nice touch. You’ve also got more unconventional characters like J-Fu, a jellyfish that wields six swords and some of the most hilarious facial expressions I’ve ever seen in a game. These include the hauntingly eerie sorceress Lady White, who’s adorned in flowing traditional garb and mocks the heroes throughout the beginning of the game.
I’d dare to say that the enemy designs are actually more charming and memorable than the main cast, thanks to a rogue’s gallery of colorful foes with interesting designs and lively animations. The creativity extends to the character designs, not just for the four protagonists but the enemies as well. From touches like flowing waters and falling snow to gusts of wind and glowing lava, the game is like a breathing, moving piece of art that you can control. Unruly Heroes boasts a fluid beauty to it that looks absolutely splendid in motion. Its staff members’ pedigree is most obvious in the game’s visuals.
In fact, I’d say Rayman meets Journey to the West would be an accurate description of Unruly Heroes as a game. After all, developer Magic Design Studios is comprised of several Ubisoft veterans, including folks who worked on the popular Rayman sidescrollers. The first thing I noticed while playing the game is that it has a Ubisoft vibe to it, which should be no surprise.
